I was “shopping” online for shoes the other day.
I use “inverted commas” (See? I did it again) because shopping is what I actually wanted to do, yet no money actually changed hands.
Could this possibly spell the end of my shoe shopping sprees?
“Surely not!” I hear you exclaim with what I can only imagine to be horror.
Why do I speak such unspeakable things?
Why am I saying words that should remain unsaid?
Simply because I couldn’t find any more shoes that could excite me enough to part with my hard earned.
Well, I couldn’t find any affordable shoes, at least.
Give me a bottomless wallet and I’ll be fairly swimming in Choo’s and Louboutin’s.
In the meantime, I have to limit myself to more achievable purchases, should I be able to find them.
Try as I might of late though, I just can’t seem to find any worthy new members to move into the Shoeplex, where space is seriously at a premium.
For now, let’s cast our gaze upon some older, and seemingly permanent residents.
